A: ThingLink is a web-based platform that provides tools to create interactive images which can be shared via the web or embedded into existing sites. For educators, ThingLink can be used to enhance content-specific images; allowing teachers to create conceptual supports situated within a relevant context. Also, ThingLink can be used to ease some of our teachers' instructional burden by supporting learners with their use of technology (see this example of a ThingLink for Chromebooks).
Richard Byrne, author of the popular Free Technology for Teachers blog, has posted several articles about ThingLink in the classroom. Therefore, instead of forcing you to listen to me explain this tool, I have opted to use his explanation of how to smash PicMonkey and ThinkLink in order to create interactive collages. Enjoy!
